12-Sep-2004 - extensive documentation effort started

Documentation to GLayout is now starting to be put online. There already was the "in a nutshell" page, which is a quick introduction to GLayout, now I have added the user-guide and a bug list.

Please note that the user-guide is still unfinished and some of its content is based on unreleased code. It does give an idea of what there is to come.

Furthermore, the old SLiM documentation is going to be put back online after 2 months of vacation ;-). It has to be revised so that it uses the much better new site structure.

Finally, Documentation to liquid (in the form of a user-guide) is also in the works. Expect this to be available just before the devcon.

1-Sep-2004 - Devcon here I come

It is official, the author of STEEL integrated toolset (Maxim Olivier-Adlhoch) will be at the annual rebol collaboration giving a conference about STEEL in general and mesmerizing you with all the things you've been missing out on. It will also be a chance for you to convince him into changing his plans, design, or release roadmap!

Bring your questions, I will be happy to give you all the answers you need during and after the conference... 45 mins is not very long, each tool could have a hour long demo, so the conference will be more of a snappy show and tell than an in-depth discussion. I'll be at the event 24 hours a day until sunday, so be sure to come and see me in the evening for any important questions or more in-depth demos and quick examples I can code before your eyes.

27-Jul-2004 - completely brand new site

The whole steel web site is in the process of being rebuilt.

It is now completely built using remark, and a new and much better set of rtags is being used.

There will be extensive new content being added to the site weekly, come back often, just to see what's new.
